Hey, I had two stories to tell you today AGI and OpenAi. Let’s start with AGI.
AGI is a hypothetical type of AI, which can think, understand, reason and solve the problems at human level. It would able to learn and apply its knowledge to new situations, and it would solve the problems that are not solved by Super computers.
As Sam said (Founder & new CEO at OpenAi) “If we achieve AGI in real time, we can solve complex problems and also it can replicate scientists to invent new things”. I think we are not far away to achieve it. Recently SAM posted “AGI achieved internally” by this we can estimate the time for achieving AGI. And I think AGI effects the real world more than AI.
And now we talk about a Drama in Tech Industry, Which is very interesting, On a fine evening Sam Altman(CEO of OpenAi) got email to join a session with a board member, Sam joined the meeting and all the board members are already in the session and Fired the SAM from OpenAi, The reason they wrote in a blog post for firing SAM, “is he was not consistent to meetings hiding something to the company”. And the next day Sam went out from OpenAI. after that his CFO & few team members resigned and went out.
Next day Microsoft CEO Satya wrote in X (formally Twitter) that, Sam and his colleagues joined in Microsoft and Sam is CEO of new Advanced AI research center at Microsoft. This tweet blows everybody mind in the tech industry, its like a master move from Satya. after this almost 500 members said that they would resign, after that OpenAi realized the mistake of firing Sam. They requested Sam to return as a CEO with new Board Members, and Sam agreed because of the emotion towards his company and now everyone on a mission[AGI].
Let’s wait and watch how AGI effects the world. If we want to talk about tech industry its like before AI and After AI, everything changed now. we can entirely replace repetitive tasks by AI, we can achieve a 10 days work in a day by AI tools and AGI is like the most advanced version of AI.
And I feel, we are lucky to be in this generation to watch the evolution of AI. What do you think???
