We consume a lot of content from social media every day, and that's not necessarily bad.
What type of content you're consuming is super important. I've been on the other side of social media by creating content. I know so many tips and tricks to create it.
If you consume content like entertainment, music, and random stuff, it will ruin your entire life, buddy. But, social media is completely filled with this type of content, right? What I mean by good content is this: consume reels or videos that add value to your life and help you improve yourself.
Follow a creator who helps you understand the real world.
People's attention span a few decades ago was 10 minutes, meaning people could consume a 10-minute content without getting bored. But now, in this generation, it's decreased to 5 seconds. We watch the first 5 seconds of a video and decide whether to watch it or scroll.
We're unable to listen to a boring lecture, even if it's valuable. You know who's succeeding in this generation? People with better speaking capabilities. If you only have 100% knowledge about something, it won't benefit you.
Okay, then what is good content? Good content is following people who have succeeded in their own path and are sharing their experiences. Examples include podcasts, books, etc. Yup, consuming entertaining content is good, but doing it all day is very bad. There's a quote,
"You're the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
Similarly, "we are the average of the few we follow.
